About Me

new-me-1

We are what we speak and communicate. And communication cannot be this simple, ask any author or writer, they always have a tough time writing simple plain English to connect with their readers.

I am by no means suggesting that my blog will teach you how to write better but this blog will definitely help you get a deeper perspective on the subject of communication especially employee communication.

Why you should follow me. Because I am an employee communication specialist, with more than 10 years of diverse experience across the globe. And plus not to forget there are not too many blogs or websites, which can help communication professionals to become specialists in this domain. Which is what this blog will help you do- turn you into communication specialists.

In the course of few weeks, that is only if you subscribe to this blog, you will witness a seamless transformation in your thought process which you would feel in the way you communicate with people in your organization.  My experience will help people who have either taken up or want to take up internal communication, which I refer to as internal marketing as a profession.

Lets face it; the education, which we acquired, is not relevant in this digital age anymore. All that has become dated, if you don’t believe me, just pick up your college or journalism books and you will get the answer. I am not suggesting to not invest in education, that’s an educational hazard, the term which I just coined taking cues from occupational hazard.

Why am I saying this is because I had the privilege of studying in the best of educational institutes? History Honors from St.Stephens College, Journalism from Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Delhi and Executive MBA from North America.  A great experience but how relevant all this education now, remains questionable.

This blog will give you perspective on how the world of corporate communications is changing or need to change to meet the growing business, organizational needs. We all will together share light on how effectively and differently we can communicate internally with our employees and our shareholders externally.

My experience in Fortune 100 companies such as GE, IBM, MetLife will come in handy to all of you in gaining insights on communications. So let the journey begin.
